This sounds like a good party trick. And it's probably worth some money if I wager on it.

Everytime I see a beer can, it has the initials HKDNP on them. It doesn't matter what brand they are but they don't appear on soda cans.

I researched and they stand for Hong Kong Duty Not Paid. I found the meaning on acronymfinder.com but it doesn't specify why it's there or why they're only on beer cans. Nonetheless it's another way to seem smart. Besides, if the people you're talking with are drinking beer, just the meaning of the acronym may suffice for a pretty interesting conversation.

This phrase will stand out during a normal conversation so it's variation should suffice, "The simplest answer is usually the correct answer." But I like Albert Einstein's quote with the same thinking, "Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler."

The Philippine Flag

During times of peace, the Philippine flag is displayed with the blue half above the red part. However, during times of war the Philippine flag is displayed with the red part above the blue.

It is the only flag to be flown differently when at war.
